for me it would be
JYP all groups had their fandom growth, average growth but still growth.
YG only BP have highest massive fandom growth, treasure is doing okay tho, rest is underperform
SM NCT Growth, rest of them doing okay
JYP has the highest profit and market cap 1.3T
YG is doing great with profit thanks to BP they have 900m market cap
SM somehow flopping with profit, but NCT is have high growth they have 870m market cap
Jyp has the least impressive stats.
SM has one soloist selling 1M album and NCT doing the same. Psycho is still doing good on the charts.
Blackpink is killing it this year.
seems about right
1.SM, they released the best album this year, SuperM and NCT album this year are in the top 10 of the best release of the year
2. JYP, Skz was a good surprise to me, they really hit strong with god's menu and back door, twice also release a good ep with more&more
didn't like itzy eps bside, but wannabe was strong
3. YG, besides Blackpink release and winner hold, i didn't like much thing, Treasure was a disappointment for me
JYP because of SKz and ITZY sales improvement. Twice breaching 500K copies and NIziU of course.
SM ( between superm and nct and baekhyun they have like three million sellers this year ( baek, nct 127 and nct 2020).( Not to mention i stan both groups)
In my subjective opinion
It’s a success ranking or a musical ranking ?
Like rank their releases? Or overall success?
sm would be 1st but they still haven't debuted smngg
My preference would be JYP > YG > SM. JYP groups have been great this year esp. rookies. BP is killing it, LSG is such an amazing song. Didn’t see content I like a lot in SM though, hope they bring RV back fast.
Criminal >>>rest of kpop
Blackpink and Treasure releases slap so yg came in first automatically
Sorry but Seulrene>>>>> Treasure
BP was YG's savior but besides them and Treasure otherwise YG didn't do a lot. SM had Seulrene, SuperM, NCT, Taemin solo and tons of other stuff. JYP was meh. You can't compare the work of a whole label with 2 BP comebacks and a rookie boy group. 2020 was SM's year in terms of production. Otherwise BP did better than even BTS in my opinion this year. But again it's just one group.
