you look really pretty in those photos!
i was like 7yo

We were all outcasted, we were closer together than being near the preppy kids. Thus, we were at least on the same side if the war
Lol, you describe it as how people from subcultures are portrayed in movies xd. I guess finding an emo nowadays would be rare or finding a punk or someone from a subculture, but I wouldn't say they were outcasted before because there were many of them and on the internet too when myspace was still a thing.
Idk what world you are living on but that is how it is at my school, to portion of us is bigger than the preps. Once you can find the lowkey ones.
Still, back then, we were into "similar" music.... i guess...
IDK MAN I WAS SCENE I WAS THAT SCENE KID IN SCHOOL
Pics from a long time ago lol.......
its okay, i was the scene kid that no one noticed i was a scene kid, not cause i changed scene often more so i just fit in perfectly into most alternative groups cause i like alot of different music... it was weird though, especially when metal heads talked about emo kids or goth kids..or vice versa, so much hatred... i'm just there chilling did you forget i'm part emo people... xD
Scene was the way of being in everything lmao
What I say is that emo trend primetime is over since 2011 I would say, and in 2007-2008 there were a lot of them, actually the emos were the "cool kids" (I was never a cool kid though), I was outcasted but for different reasons. So probably if you're an emo in 2017, you might be "outcasted" because it's less common.
sometimes its hard to believe you grew up to be so tall sometimes.....
I'm curious but how old were you when you got into the emo-scene trend?
Im a lowkey still emo... MCR still pulls me in. P!ATD still gets me with I Write Sins Not Tragedies and Build God Then We'll Talk. Im an emo still
You will never escape.
You would be surprised so many emos at my school... halp.
Haha, you're cute :3
Im not kidding kids are dying there hair black and wearing too much eyeliner. I am in a class with one now. Halp.
by definition, I was emo before emo was really a thing, but i never considered i was really anything, started back when i was 14-15...sooo 2003/2004, previous to that it was more heavy metal (i basically got in progressively softer music and a grew up, still holding on to my previous likes)... but i started following Visual Kei at the time, then when i went to college and emo kids popping up everywhere (which was from 2005-2007), which was strange, because i felt the emo scene trend was weirdly overexaggerated, with kids faking issues i actually really had, which had nothing to do with my preference in music.... my clothing style was all over the place, but gothic emo syle is how it was refered to most of the time, corsets, uniform (although this was habit, as in school we wore uniform, which i didn't mind), chains etc.
theres always been clinque wars.... the oldest i can think of is the whole Mods vs Rockers thing,
