I love and would recommend books by Haruki Murakami Dance Dance Dance Kafka on the Shore South of the Border, West of the Sun Tell the wolves I'm home by Carol Rifka Brunt Devotion of Suspect X by Keigo Higashino What's your favorite book and recommendations?
Demian - Hermann Hesse The Neverending Story - Michael Ende Sherlock holmes, the 4 novels - Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
Anything by Tolkien, anything by Marie Lu (although I haven’t read her new book yet and Rebel is eh :/), Howl’s Moving Castle series (really different from the movie but DEFINITELY recommended), and the Leviathan series by Scott Westerfeld. Yeah, some of these are YA books but they’re pretty solid, and you can’t blame me as those books are intended for my age anyway :/
Never Let Me Go- Kazuo Ishiguro Em and the Big Hoom- Jerry Pinto Flights- Olga Tokarczuk New York Trilogy- Paul Auster Kindred- Octavia Butler Since you seem to like Murakami, i think you will enjoy these writers too.
Thanks! I have Never Let Me Go by Kazuo and I haven't read that yet. It's on my next book to read box
it's part of a trilogy of sorts Pinball Wild Sheep Chase Dance Dance Dance you CAN read the books seperately too but imo you should read them in sequence or atleast 2 and 3 in sequence for the full experience although the characters may not be named and described the same, the feelings and situations get carried over and develop from the first book to the third
