Interestingly a K-Pop Big Bang! Or will say a post military BTS or EXO return even outdo that
Probably not. Big Bang are legends, no doubt, but the BIGGEST event in K-Pop history to be recorded? Yeah, no.
Then what will be bigger? Made Era maybe ;p
Yeah whose return could be bigger someone reforming 2NE1, OT9 SNSD?? But those won't happen
I guess we can never know what will be bigger, but it's pretty safe to say that the kings coming back at OT5 will be HUGE, and I am SO ready for it!
I think it has the potential to be if done right. I'll choose to believe
If we are excluding scandals then i'd say yeah but there are some scandals that were enormous like T-aras
Damn do you think scandals are bigger than even a huge comeback? I suppose for impact they can end groups - by the way any news on Solji EXID OT5?
It's a fact that people respond more to negativity than positivity so a huge scandal is going to get more people jumping at it than a huge comeback.
As for EXIDs comeback, Jeonghwa and Hyelin have both changed their hair and Solji has been performing with them recently and they are aiming for September/October so it's just waiting for an official date.
Biggest even in world history when BIGBANG comes back, this is not in dispute. Poll can be closed now.
She looks so well!!!!!! Hyelin looks great as well
I think you are right
I hope they have as epic comeback as Alive was.
I’d lie if I say that I would check it out, and to be honest will be a huge event for 2nd gen stans mainly. Wouldn’t label it as the biggest event ever in kpop
Here's the thing about Big Bang.
What makes them unusually, enormously successful -- and unlike the vast majority of even highly successful Kpop groups -- is their degree of recognition and acclaim within the general public. That's always differentiated them from their peers; people young and old alike know and like Big Bang regardless of whether they even listen to idol music. That's why they've retained more relevance than a lot of the other second-generation artists; their fame goes well beyond fandom.
So if it were any other group returning from the military, I'd probably say no; it wouldn't even be a contender for the biggest event in Kpop history. And of course how YG manages it will make a difference. But I do think that the return of Big Bang will be an event of massive proportions; one that will draw interest from well beyond Kpop's normal audience and indeed from all across Korea. I think they're going to get a hero's welcome, and that whether or not it's the biggest of all time, it's going to be a very, very big deal.
Wait you're saying you wouldn't check it out?
Yeah it's gonna be fucking huge
When ot5 leave yg together
Yup, I’m just not interested like that, I randomly check some releases when I’m bored but that’s about it. Big Bang isn’t my cup of tea musically
Would be like asking teenagers/young adults nowadays if they care about The Backstreet Boys making a comeback
No cause other groups have done that and its bound to happen. Something surprising like tvxq all 5 getting back together would be more important imo.
