I'm really surprised, for their previous singles their sales would stagnate after the 6th day of release but this one is still going strong on the 10th day.
Their longevity this time is amazing!

WOW.... This shows how tragic their management were before. They changed it earlier this year. It was really slowing them down.
What's the story behind that ? I didn't know this.
Their previous PR agency in Japan, just after they signed contract shares were sold to SM. So you can imagine what was idea behind it. The November situation is rumored to be revenge because contract was ending. And now first single with new agency they are selling amazing, they can finally do big TV appearance and we get MV for japanese single. The change is so dramatic it's obvious.
Sm dont want any other agency idol to get success in japan apparently..
Do you think this could mean we have hope for Kouhaku? I would like them to dump the K-networks boring year end shows as payback for what they did last year.
I would love to. Tristone is doing amazing job with them. The gig in Osaka they did last week gives me hope for more. Kouhaku is kind of special so if Japan /SK relations are really bad we can't overcome that. But at least their agency is working FOR them not AGAINST them.
Sad life for them if so meanwhile other are thriving unlike theirs uwu
By SM you mean SM Entertainment from Korea or is it different SM?
I mean SM Entertainment from Korea. They have some connections to Avex and Universal Music Japan. My Japanese in not good enough to actually understand the level of this connection and there is not a lot of English sources. BUT THERE IS CONNECTION. Also it's kind of obvious something fishy was going on in November, and then BAAM - BTS signed up with Tristone earlier this year and everything is so much better in Japan for them.
I wonder if this can break 800k on Oricon.

720K like. Overall for Japan Boy Bands in the past 10 years its not the highest but its like 15th - 20th or so place. But even then no Boy Group in the past like 5 years has outsold this except Arashi and I think maybe two other Boy Bands. This number is wild. Are they doing hi touches or handshakes for this single too? Or do you not know
Last boy group who sold more than this was Arashi in 2016 (829,305), before that Arashi in 2013 (881,192). And these were highly promoted double A-side singles where both songs were OSTs to something popular
