Oh boy am I hyped or what!!
[long ramble about controversy ahead]
People are complaining about no ot13 on the Discord server but we all know that won't happen until Rocket Girls 101 is done promoting (Tencent could probably buy the entirety of Yuehua and Starship at this rate and Yuehua at least has definitely learned not to fck with them) and the most we'll get until then is ot10. If we're lucky, Cheng Xiao will come back earlier for ot11, but promoting in China and ROK is not easy or inexpensive. Diplomatic and economic tension is pretty high and given the state of Asian affairs lately they're doing what they can to ease that, but pushing it and letting Cheng Xiao be basically above the law could be risky given her popularity in both countries. I believe the reason C-Line has been put to work in China isn't simply because Yuehua is a Chinese company (they also operate in ROK as you know if you're a fan of Everglow or IZ*ONE's Yena), but in attempts to ease regulations regarding work visas and etc. while also gaining more public recognition and support. Just my impression, though it is backed by many events surrounding PD101 China and the aftermath as well as Cheng Xiao being a mentor on Idol Producer before PD101 China, probably as a less risky test run of sorts.
Either way, I wouldn't want the other 10 to be left with no work, and the ot10 discography has been extremely good as well. I am especially enjoying MeiQi's work in China (imo XuanYi seems a bit bored compared to her personality in Korea) and RG101 is my favorite gg to date. So, I can NOT wait to see what this comeback brings!!!
