Not at people bashing Dynamite because of autotune but praising VVS which has far more
I hated autotune on both songs. It was the sole weakness on VVS, why oh why does hiphop need autotune? Check out how dope real hiphop sounded back in the day
I know, I don't think it is needed either
RM on intro: persona
Wow the SMTM song is now #1 on Melon
It's deserved, it's a great song. I feel bad for LGO though.
@MassiveKpopFan What was LGO's peak UL count? I predicted 450k for Melon.
Nah its peak uls were higher than that. It rose even after first 24hrs and then dropped
Then you answer him, please.
So far BTS remain as the only non TV show song to hit #1 after chart reform, I think ppl really underestimate Dynamite performance on chart tbh, from its initial performance to longevity. Maan 3 out of 4 songs that hit #1 after melon reform are from popular TV shows, Ssak3, Refund Sister, now SMTM. A lot of song rise a lot on chart after it got promoted on TV as well. Seems like tv promotion will be one of the most important factor for a song performance under this new melon system.
Guys IU comeback next year
LGO underperforming (not flopping) is quite surprising.
i thought so..
It just make sk even more unpredictable for me
SK's taste is confusing
Looks like they threw on a lot more auto-tune for the final release. They're actually really good. Shows you the difference in skills between actual k-hip-hop artists and kpop rappers.
The guys tone reminds me a bit of Tiger JK.
In western hip-hop autotune only works on certain types of songs I feel. Dislike it more in slower songs if the melody isn't strong enough (one of the reasons I couldn't really get into the new BTS song).
I really liked it, its not just a song with brag brag brag.... ooohhh look at me I'm cool... diss this and that
oh well we will wait for the slayage
yup i noticed a lot of songs rose and stabilized after it was promoted on korean tv (music shows etc).
too bad BTS isn't promoting LGO in korea tv right now.
now i'm really curious to see IU's performance , will she remain completely unbothered by the chart change ?
