    Welcome to [​IMG] Forum Guide

    This thread will answer all users' questions about the different features you can use on your account and the forum, such as:
    • How to use your profile
    • How to use the text editor
    • How to create threads and post comments
    • Where your questions/suggestions for the different functions and matters on the forum should be directed
    • and more... :)

    Your Profile
    1. Changing your account settings - Simply click on your account name on the top right or click on the Personal Details feature
    • You can change your display picture by simply clicking on the avatar.

    • Putting a YouTube video on your home page by copying the video's YouTube code.
    • Changing your date of birth is available by leaving a request in this thread .

    3. Notifications - If you click on the flag icon beside your account and messages, you will be able to view your notifications and change your alert settings down below in the drop box if you wish.

    4. How to log out - To log out, simply hover over the account name,and choose log out from the drop-down menu

    5. Creating a signature - Simply hover over your account name and click on the Signature button

    6. Deleting/Deactivating your account - There is no function to delete or deactivate accounts on allkpop forums. Simply log out if you wish to stop using the website.

    ►Comments and Threads◄

    1. How to make a post -
    If you wish to make a post in a thread, simply click on the thread and scroll all the way down, you will see a text box where you can type in.

    2. How to make a reply - If you wish to reply to someone in the thread, just click the 'Reply' button under his comment and it will automatically quote their message for you.​

    *Note- you can tag users in your post by simply using '@ before their full username' .

    3. How to edit your post - You can edit your post by clicking the 'Edit' button under your comment.
    *Note - you can't delete your comment but you can always edit it.

    4. Creating a Thread - To be able to post a new thread, users must have made 15 posts on pre-existing threads and then click the Post New Thread button, more information can be found on this thread.

    5. upload_2017-3-14_23-55-2.png Posting Youtube/Twitter/Facebook,etc links - You can do it by simply copying the link and pasting it in the text box.

    ►Text Editor◄

    1. Changing the text color -
    Simply click on this sign and choose the suitable color.

    2. Changing the text size - Simply click on this sign and chose the suitable text size.

    3. How to link/unlink- Double click word/sentence and/or picture you want to contain a link. After highlighting it click the circled button below then insert link. To unlink simply highlight again and press the button to the right of the circled button.

    4. How to make a spoiler- Highlight the word or the sentence you wish to put in a spoiler and then simply click the '+' sign and chose the spoiler

    5. Saving a draft - You can save your draft by clicking on this sign

    6. Remove formatting - You can reset your actions by using this sign

    You can also undo them one by one by clicking this button and the reverse with the button on its right

    ►More Features and Common Questions◄

    1. Following a user - You can follow user by simply clicking on their username and choosing 'follow' from the pop-up box.

    2. Starting a conversation - Simply click on this sign and then click on the start new conversation button. (Shown in the picture above)
    *Note- You can add up to 5 people in a conversation.

    3. Ignoring a user- You can always ignore another user on the forum and avoid pointless conflicts by clicking on their username and choose "Ignore' from the pop up box. (Shown in the picture above)

    4. Report function- If a user isn't obeying the forum rules you can always report him/her by clicking on the report button ,and let the staff members know and deal with it.

    5. Contacting a staff member- Staff members will gladly answer your questions in the following thread.

    And finally, if you think the guide can be improved in any way then don’t hesitate to contact a staff member and let them know.
