I just finished watching Umbrella Academy a few days ago. And I super love it! ♥
Just watched the first episode of Dead Pixels a surpringly accurate comedy about a bunch of MMO players. Was quite amusing.
Itd be nice if netflix doesnt implement geoblock so u can watch all the content from around the world!
Just finished watching the first season of Black Summer. Well worth it if you like shows like The Walking Dead. Well put together.
Halt and Catch Fire on Amazon.
Been watching this for a while, bit of a slow burner for the 1st 2 series, once it got to series 3 it’s went from good to great.
Now on to the final series 4, top stuff, very addictive.
I like Barry, it's pretty great. I've just started the 2nd season, after waiting for it all to drop (last episode arrives Wednesday, I think)
Just finished s1 of The Tick the live action version with Peter Serafinowicz. Took me a while to get in to. But enjoyed it in the end.
Season 5 of Black Mirror came out about a week ago and I finally got to it. Black Mirror is a science fiction anthology series (every episode features a different cast a different plot) so you can watch them out of order. I didn't care much for season 5, but the earlier seasons have some good episodes.
I'm watching "undercover" - Belgian police drama - alright for a watch - story well told a bit silly but fun
Netflix horror / thriller, starts quite well but got a little ludicrous at the end. Fairly entertaining all the same I guess.
Dark Sails on Starz/Amazon
Although it's fictionalized history, so many real pirates I didn't know about, and semi-historical scenarios. I'm amazed when I realize a new character is a real person.
The Predator (2018) - the most fetid loose stool water of a film I've seen in a long time. Cringingly bad.
Talking of Black Mirror, i'm slowly working my way through it in random order.
Watched San Junipero last night, probably one of the best episodes of Black Mirror i've seen along with Fifteen Million Merits and USS Callister.
Started I am the Night with Chris Pine, true crime story based on the Black Dahlia, very enjoyable so far only 2 episodes in, but liking it so far.
Carnival Row, Prime Tv, steampunk, fantasy, Victorian setting much like Ripper Street.
The Ranch...Part 7 is back on. Great cliff hanger.
Finished all 5 seasons of luther 7/10 started off good but seams to repeat a lot of things and I found out idris elba cant really act so who ever wanted him as James bond need to get their head checked.
Just watched all episodes of Frozen Dead. It started promising despite all the tired cliches (the world weary detective, the brilliant serial killer, etc.) and then it faltered 2/3 of the way. If you have seen your fair share of small town mystery thriller, the ending's pretty much telegraphed midway through. I watched it subbed but the acting's fine as far as I can tell. It's not a total waste of time as it's visually interesting and paced evenly for the most part. You can do worse but don't get your hopes up.
Watching 'When the Camillias Bloom" with Gong Hyo Jin.
The Crown, Élite (if you can understand Spanish) and Gossip Girl. They're great and probably worth your time IMO.
