Found 'Lost in Space' this week....the new one. Same characters, but with new twist....

Mom and Dad were nearly divorced but forced back together.
Judy is now a young mixed race girl....a doctor....not a bubble blonde
Penny is now a redhead, but still in pigtails and precocious
Will is about the same, a bit younger
Dr. Smith is now a scheming woman with a hidden criminal past
Robot is really cool....full of actual emotion
Don West is now a smuggler instead of a Major

The rest of the story has very little to do with the original.

So well written and emotions run high. You can feel the panic with every pending disaster. Way more exciting than the original.

"Reign" - I liked it too much, there are moments where I felt the plot was so evident. But it kept turning and turning, or I'm easier to trick than I think, but it's an interesting plot and I like the way some characters were developed.

There are some who feel flat even at the shows last episode, others needed more time to reach their potential, but overall, I liked it too much.
It's a fun way to get a bit of knowledge.

I recommend Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, it's a very good series, one of my favorites.

No one still knows exactly what The OA was about, but I agree so well made!
I still haven't figured out if her story was a lie or the truth... and the final "dance"
They will probably give answers in season 2.
Yup the ending was confusing and made me frustrated:confused:

I recommend End of The Fucking World, Jessica Jones, Bojack Horseman, and The Office.

All of these shows are really good trust.

    Well....not Netflix...but Amazon Prime

Just finished season 1 of Jack Ryan......awesome.

Modern parallel to the original Red October storyline. Greer and Ryan get thrown together. Ryan is a hotshot with no political filter. Similar storyline of his gruesome injuries as a Marine. More in-depth personal background on Greer. Ryan's big mouth gets himself thrust into the fire (sort of like Red October). Modern theme of terrorism in Syria. Once again...Ryan is a wolf in (analyst) sheeps clothing. You also get to see how he met his wife Cathy, and how they started dating. Much more in-depth character studies of all main characters.

There is also a throwback reference to the Willem Dafoe character of Clark, but with a new actor and new name (Matice). Same badass fixer type special forces character.

Finished season 3 of The Last Kingdom. Uhtred is such a badass hero archetype. Great actor, great character. (Like GOT? This is better and based on historical fact)

Finished season 3 of Frontier. For you Jason Mamoa fans.....Declan Harp is awesome as well.

Finished season 4 of The Ranch. Sad, but for you Sam Elliot fans......swooney.

Sex Education - amazingly funny with great reviews. This is a must watch. Teenage sex foibles.

Atypical - very good depiction of a teen with autism....gets real, but stays fun.

Just finished the newsroom and sex education. Now I think we'll be picking Gotham back up after having a break from it. Only half way through season 1 but it does seem good.

I'm obsessed with Babylon Berlin. Just totally thrilling crime drama.
