Before you click it, it sounds pretty bad. I don't know Korean at all or how to pronounce it, but at least I learned how to edit these things. I could have even added autotune if I wanted to. I tested it out, but it sounded too robotic haha... so no autotune sadly.

Carats I'm sorry if you feel I butchered the song.. I really love the song.

What's your opinions? I want to get better obviously.
Please don't be to mean with your constructive criticism, you all should know how soft I am by now.

first of all, if i may ask where did you edit this? i need a place to edit my cover too omg

    pieces of advice:
    1. i get that you're not a native korean speaker, and what i do if i cover kpop songs is that i practice the pronunciation a lot, and i watch vids on how to properly pronounce certain korean words. it helps a lot
    2. build your confidence! sometimes, it felt like you were holding back which made some words unclear.
    3. sometimes you were a bit off beat which i think might also be the editing, so i don't really blame you :>
    4. have you heard of your head voice? it's the voice singers use when singing higher melodies. you should try learning how to use it properly so you can have a bigger range!!
    5. make sure that you aren't eating your words, sing loud and clear, make sure you open up your throat, but not too much

but you sound cute tho!! needs a bit of work, but you're fine~

    Thank you :nervousk:

I used audacity! It's really simple and easy to use. I didn't know what else to use plus it's free so.. I literally just put the instrumental in first, then my singing mp3 from vocaroo, and trimmed it a bit and quieted my moving around in the beginning and end.

Thank you so so much and I will definitely shoot for better next time! :loverr3:

    oof
I sing covers myself, I even covered this one!
    shameless self-promotion

Okay, I understand this is your first cover, so I'll go easy.
-Your timing is off. It's not your editor, I know because I use Audacity too, and I can time my songs properly.
-You sound like you're voice acting. Don't ever do that. It makes you sound unnatural.
-Your pronunciation could use a lot of work, but it's possible to fix it. I'm white, yet I pronounce Korean like a native because I practiced.
-You sound really flat. Where is your emotion?
-Try not to record in one go. Record different parts.
-Turn down your microphone sensitivity and you won't get that loud deafening noise when you sing loud.
-Learn about your head voice and falsetto. I belt in my covers because I have the ability to do so, but if you can't do that, sing in your head voice.
-You can't rap. I'm sorry, you'll need to practice that.

I'm really sorry if this hurts your feelings, but the cover made my ears hurt. You need a lot of practice, and it takes a long time to get really good. I've been singing without an instructor for about 9 years and I'm still no good, so it's gonna take a long time to be amazing.
