    Gee is more Iconic tough?

True Colours of KPOP are long forgotten...

Tell Me, So Hot, 2DT, Nobody, GEE, Abracadabra etc...

I think the iconic concept Wonder Girls sticked from the start with to the end.

SNSD kinda migrated from the iconic concept longer ago...

But Hyuna's Lip & HIp perfomance was the most iconic of the year. The Boobs pop amazin.

This describes pretty much true colour of KPOP along with

    _________________________________________________________________________

Not saying that The Boys are not iconic but they're not a true colour of kpop either

And if we talk about achievements nothing has suprassed Korea's achievement bigger then Wonder Girls Tell Me, it was literally everywhere, Inside & outside of korea. All Online games /dance /dance1 /dance2 Wonder Girls Tell Me & Nobody .!.#

Imma be a fighter on this, Iconic Title Wonder Girls Cant loose.:yesr:

    Gurl.
Wonder Girls had hits yes but some some weren’t bigger than SNSD’s.
Honestly their only big hits were Tell Me, So Hot, and Nobody and none of them were “Gee” level.
Gee was the literal definition of a song being played everywhere.
Kpop wasn’t a super popular genre until Wonder Girls came along but SNSD took it to another level.

Tell Me(most iconic) wasn't topped by anything during their generation, I was somewhat supporting both groups cause they're close with each other and interacted even by this day with each other + Sunmi is in SNSD fancafe/was before. But they were the #'1' SHIT, SNSD took the spot over when they went to America yet they were biggest rivals but WG was the real shit

SNL approves my opinion, they had made a skit on this after Wonder Girls returned from war(america) and found out that SNSD took #1 spot.

    Nah.
Wonder Girls declined in popularity after Nobody.
SNSD just kept on releasing hit after hit plus their success in Japan, Wonder Girls couldn’t keep up.
SNSD literally has hits after hits, Gee, Genie, Oh!, RDR, Hoot, The Boys, etc

Yes after Nobody promotions were finished SNSD became #1 as Wonder Girls went to America. But prior to this it was the Wonder Girls who shat on all charts, cf's collabs etc.

However, they weren't declined. they just weren't #1 anymore

2DT, Be My Baby, Like this & last songs weren't as bad charted but obviously not the #1 anymore. The only declined song was I feel you, others did well on charts & wins.

SNSD were nowhere close to Wonder Girls during their Irony, Tell Me, So Hot & nobody era their popularity at that time still exceeded all other groups including bg & gg. The closest rivals were SNSD but nowhere near them anyway.

there are many threads on WG Vs SNSD and they're likely on my side on this.

Won't exceed to fight today as its 6 am but will continue tomorrow if you want a long discussion xD

You can’t expect to stay number 1 for long, there will always be competition.
The fact that SNSD was literally number 1 for like 7 years is crazy.

Yeah tough, Wonder Girls had biggest 3 years of fame ever in history neither of the new groups has surpassed them, might get shit for this but people forget that neither of the new groups leave such a big influence as neither of WG & SNSD songs and the views are only a number as 2GEN was responsible for bringing and making kpop worldwide known.

I'm sure WG all members can live off the savings from that 3 years alone not to mention other things. Yet the Iconic is wonder girls winner, iconic lists/charts/playlists you will still see Nobody, So Hot & Tell Me whilst theres only GEE from SNSD

Tell me, so hot & nobody were discussed everywhere, the dances were extremely famous and I don't see this happening on neither of the GG current generation

You’re really overrating the popularity of Wonder Girls lmao.
SNSD has so many mega/iconic hits other than Gee. There’s Oh!, The Boys, I Got A Boy, Genie. And that’s only the mega ones.
Gee is considered the “song of the decade”.

You're forgetting Into The New World. It's still played in Korea when people protest etc and almost all girl groups still perform it once when they're rookies . Gee isn't their only iconic song. Of course if you're only going by charts etc then what can be done??

Am I ? they surpassed SNSD and their debuts were close WG debuted first, during the debut SNSD were nowhere close to WG this isnt a fact.

If you compare Tell Me/ Into the new world as these are the 2 songs with the closest days Tell Me over shadowed Into the New World. not saying SNSD were not famous but WG were on a different level during 2nd gen debuts.

Yes WG has a better debut year but that’s pretty Up it.
After Gee, SNSD became Number 1 and stayed Number 1.

Ok, I feel like a fighter today.

Tell Me was the breakthrough for all Girl Groups there and girl groups had the concept only due to Wonder Girls. Everyone Copy & Paste new group style during that era as they were the one GG that made a opening for KPOP. All the girl groups had different style & concept prior to them.

Tell Me is acknowledged in Korea as the best idol song of History..

Gee was hyped up but not close enough to top & chart Tell me Off.\./

    GURL.
Korean sources called gee the song BFA the decade. None of WG’s songs could compete a with Gee. Gee outsold and outcharted Tell Me.
Yes it’s true that WG made gg popular however it was Gee that took it to another level as I said before.
And I would like a source for where Tell and is considered the best idol song ever bc I’ve literally never seen anyone call it that.

I'm stepping out for the night with the comment that:

No One can top a song that made the entrance for 2nd generation of KPOP & changed girl groups.

UMM GEEE WAS SONG OF THE DECADE. They pretty much started hallyu with that song......this "tell me " song is so irrelevant i don't even know what it is.....and ive been a kpop fan for over 6 years.

9 member girl groups were not a thing until snsd came along. They impacted the whole industry.
