Well it's normal, even CLC had their Japanese debut without having any win.

is this rlly a smart move....? shouldn't they stay in korea longer and try to solidify their fanbase/presence; especially since they just released a song that gained them a lot of public attention?

I was thinking the same but Twice have paved the way in Japan, why not make an attempt when you have a great track like Bboom Bboom behind you

I wonder the same... And they'll have to go up against Twice in Japan. There are similarities between the two, 9 members, roughly same age range (I think?), music and styling not miles apart, and even the group name Momoland overlaps with one of Twice member's name...
I can't see any advantage they have over Twice. I mean, Twice was very Japan-targeted from the start with 1/3 of its members being Japanese (I don't know if there are any Japanese in Momoland).
