MMA is purely based on digital performance of the album. Seventeen album sales excels in physical rather than digital sales.
I am side-eyeing some of the Album of the Year nominees but majority of the nominations look correct to me. Edit: Where the hell is Changmo?? His album was released in November 29 so it should be eligible if I am not mistaken. It did better digitally than all of the nominees except for 1-2 albums.
Ohh I did not see the NCT nomination, for title tracks Seventeen did better with L&R. I'm not sure about the overall B-sides performance though. I dont know if the voting could be a factor in the nomination.
The Album might really have a chance to win Album of the year imo. They have 2 high selling and charting singles from the album and Ice Cream, Pretty Savage and Bet you Wanna did pretty good. Well it will be up to the judges but hoping for the best
According to melon ULs ranking for 2020, more songs from Neo Zone ranked than from Seventeen's album While L&R was a bit higher than Kick It, the Neo Zone bsides were just behind and I didn't see other Seventeen's album songs
