    I've never thought that a stranger's death could affect me this much. I'm being reminded of my past. I don't know if I'll get over it this time. I need to find a distraction.

    I'm so sorry to hear this. Grief affects us all in strange ways, even if we don't actually know the person who passed away, especially if it reminds us of a similar past. Do you have a close friend or family member you can talk to or spend time with? Or a favourite TV show or book you can use to distract yourself with?
    We're here for you. Whatever you need.

    This might seem impossible right now but you will have better days soon. Everything is temporary. Take the time you need. Be easy on yourself and don't be afraid of what you feel, it's natural. You're doing the right thing by looking for other things to focus on. Everything may feel weird for now but eventually it'll get better. I hope you will find your own way to make peace with whatever happened to you.

    Thank you. It seems like I'm using AKP as a distraction even though it's part of the problem. Unfortunately, I don't have someone to talk to irl. And even if I did, I don't think I'm ready to talk.

    sulli's passing is bringing back all the feelings from when i lost a family member 9 months ago. i can't go through it again.

    I can understand that, AKP can be a very polarising place. Try to make sure to take time away from it if and when you need to.

    I'm sorry to hear that, but I do understand about not being ready to talk. Give yourself space and time, when you're ready, we'll be here for you.

    Make sure to take care of yourself right now. It's an incredibly difficult time, so if you need to cry, cry, if you want to yell at someone, I'm here and I'll listen, if you want to cocoon yourself in your blankets and watch your favourite movie or TV show and zone out, try to make time to do that.
    Keep yourself hydrated and fed and rested and we're here for you when you need.

    Whenever I have a hard time I think if I fail at everything I can become somone who just eats food and watched netflix all day. Bottom line isnt that bad when I put it like that. Helps me keep going.

    I hope this can help others alittle too

    i haven't eaten 3 full meals in a day since i was 11 (im 15 going on 16 soon)

    my idol fucking dies and what do i do? she was always there. she always made me feel okay for being me. she made me confident when i forgot to wear a bra or whatever. and she always wanted to spread love and because of that, i wanted to be a social worker or something. she made me so fucking happy. now what? how the fuck do i cope with this? do i cry? do i scream at the causes of her passing? i cant fucking ignore it cause she's too important to bottle up. i dont like this. its too confusing and im lost. i dont like this at all. i want her back i really do.

    Being a Nigerian child is really mentally stressful amd a lot of humans need to speak out about this not to mention the physcial abuse amd mental abuse u face

    I'm not sure if you have an eating disorder. I don't want to assume.

    But if its the case where you are not able to meet your recommended calorie intake, I would suggest eating multiple meals throughout the day.
    So instead of 3 big meals, try 5/6 smaller meals. It may be a counterintuitive move, but this will slowly build your appetite back without being overwhelmed by full portions.

    If that's a big step to take, try snacking throughout the day. Healthy snacks would be ideal.

    Or possibly make your own meals. The effort you make, may subconsciously tell you that you should eat it all as you spent your blood sweat and tears on this.

    Try and make that effort hun to eat at least 1800 to 2000 calories everyday. :)

    You have every right to scream, shout and cry.

    She was a beautiful person with a beautiful heart. Make her proud as your progress to become a social worker. She always wanted to spread love as you said, and the best thing you can do in her memory, is to emulate that. :)
