Nothing i said is salty but BTS fans acting like they not been promoting non stop and in the media all the time like really.. they are active as hell.

I think it does not only deal with comeback but also social stuffs. For example they upload som variety on their v-lives and ARMYs are also active in Trending hashtags.

Their fans trending shit and them posting pictures doesn't equal active. Them posting recorded fan content doesn't equal active.
Brand ranking has nothing to do with content for your fans.

The actual brand measurement has nothing to do with being active (having comebacks or making variety) or not. Rather it's simply the media interest and the public interest value that the Korean Business Research Institute determines an idol to have. That value doesn't necessarily change just bc an idol is inactive or super active, but it can definitely be a factor. A group's ranking will most likely increase when they're promoting, bc appearing on TV reaches and affects the public, which in turn affects their marketability and media interest. Whereas releasing fan content on private platforms might not affect the ranking much, since this content won't reach the public (unless the media is crazy about a group and keeps making news stories about everything they do, in which case their brand value is out of the roof already).
As you can see, quite a few of the groups at the top of the list haven't been active in the eye of the public for months, if groups manages to still get a high score in that situation it indicates very high brand value and popularity.

If just by being active on sns can get you up there, BTS must have been there since debut because they have been active on twitter since years ago, posting Bangtan Bombs on yt and variety show on vlive(gayo & run). In fact nowadays, they have been pretty silence because they are preparing for their Japanese cb next month. I don't even think fans being active on sns has anything to do with this. Their last cb was like 6 months ago, their last promotion was MDR, their last variety show appearance was also like 6 months ago and their last tv appearance was SMA/GDA. Hope World mixtape was only promoted by the fans. Bighit only put out links and MVs for us.
Anyway, this is just a brand ranking, no need to get worked up so much. Congratulation to all. Glad to see some of my faves in there.
