The village of Inakadate, Japan, far up north in the Aomori Prefecture, has created impressive field art to celebrate the upcoming film Godzilla: Resurgence. Nine different species of multicolored rice plants were used to create a seven-color image of Godzilla roaring menacingly

The field art project in Inakadate is part of an ongoing effort to revitalize the village that began in 1993. Previous field art has included the Mona Lisa, the iconic tokusatsu superhero Ultraman, and Star Wars: The Force Awakens
