Lots of threads about it and bragging rights. Congrats in advance, I guess in a day or max two is gonna happen.
It's such a huge achievement. I don’t think the people who are downplaying this realise how huge 1 billion is.
In comparison to 1 million it is a monumental number.
1 bil let's go fam! Hopefully we get rewarded with new content afterwards
Well, that's good and all but I'm more concerned about the likes.
The fact that this video still doesn't have 11 million likes shows that the fandom isn't increasing.
I don't think people realise that this is big, not just for K-Pop but also for Girl Groups.
As well as being the first K-Pop Group to do it, BLACKPINK will only be the 2nd Girl Group, 3rd Girl Group MV, and 45th Female MV overall to hit 1B views.
It's literally 15k away and it only initially reached 10m in July of this year, also does that prove anything? If likes were in proportion to fandom size wouldn't there be more than 3 women who hit 10m? Or more than 32 videos to reach it overall?
