They are not different? Queendom just helped them in Korea/Globally. They debut in 2018 so clearly 4th gen.

I think they're 4th gen, most chart accounts report them as 4th gen. I think what makes them different from alot of 3rd gen groups is that they started self-producing their music early in their career. Most 3rd gen groups don't really have that benefit especially if they come from a big company.
I think 4th gen started in 2018. Ateez,TXT etc.. The next generation starts when big companies release new groups It didnt really happen this time around though.
Yes, they are 4th gen. They produce their own songs and their songs chart. That's their difference from 3rd gen GGs.
ateez isn’t from a “big company” and txt debuted in 2019 along with Itzy and they were from big companies. who’s to say that 4th gen didn’t start with TXT and Itzy?
Well my perspective is that a new generation starts with the debut of groups from the big 3. TXT and Itzy’s debuts were huge markers of 4th gen starting imo. And it’s just my opinion but I honestly feel like groups who debuted in 2018 kinda debuted at the end of 3rd gen. Similar to groups that debuted in 2011. But that’s just me.
If I claimed ateez was from a big company I would have said that after the part about big company.. Ateez is part of Gen 4.
