They are both big in their own ways
Hits are hits
One popular song doesn't beat another.
Pus it's cross gen
cross generation comparisons are really hard to make....i wouldn't even know where to start comparing.
both are massive
hard to compare but if there are ever a compilation of best ggs song ever, these 2 songs already reserved their spots
gee was - and still is - one of the biggest songs in the modern kpop foundation.
Gee was choose as the song of the decade
and it's still a song that the young generation know
naag. Gee will always be bigger
Gee was called the song of the decade for a reason y’know...
Both songs are still great on their respective ways though
I don't know, let's compare the duration times and see.
But otherwise, they are both big, that's enough.
gee was iconic in shaping kpop.
wait for the next gen to be in full swing to compare these two songs. Gee was chosen as the song of the decade. and Cheer Up got topped by TT.
No I don't think so. gee is bigger and had a larger sweeping effect on Korea. Cheer up was definitely popular but mostly for the shy shy shy line right? Gee is still talked and covered today.
