    like i thought its a masterpiece probably one of sm-group greatest track ever ? i was there when it released 2 years ago and twitter was crazy for that. but on my latest thread about nct u seems like ppl here prefer MAW a lot , which is kinda the opposite of stan twitter taste.. im sorry my taste is based on stan twt taste
    so let me get this straight

    Boss sounds kinda too formulaic for a SM song. The most memorable parts are the chorus and Doyoung's part. Make a Wish is hypnotic and addictive and builds hype in the right parts of the song. So many good and memorable bits and lines, without tiring your ears. Easily superior.

    honestly most of their best songs are not liked because they're not the usual formula people get from kpop, aka 7th sense, boss, simon says, chain or superhuman.

    i really like maw but boss is so much better to me. boss is badass. maw is chill

    I think "Make A Wish" is more vibey. The bass in "Boss" is good, but the beat doesn't make me want to have a party as soon as the track starts.

    Boss is a masterpiece. It's legendary. Brought the most nctzens into the fandom and debuted Jungwoo and Lucas. Make a Wish is cute, but it will never be on Boss' level.
