I've noticed something about them.Fans take them way to seriously. Mostly in het ships.They say things like "So and so doesnt have brown hair they cant date each other" or "she's more then 3 feet tall they would NEVER DATE *insert gay ship name* FOREVER". Then theres those obsessive fans who actually think oppa will dick them down.They say things like "he likes girls that weigh 8 pounds,time to starve myself!!" (And yes I've seen actual people say and do this). Do they realize that 1. Most idols say random shit bc they get asked every single time they appear. 2. They either make it vague for fan service or make it oddly specific so it wont match another idol 3. Yes these idols have prefences of what they like to see in a man/woman,but do you actually think they wouldn't date someone over a eye/hair color?? Ok just my rant lmao.
Yeah, but on the reverse, they also say if a KPOP star mentions someone specifically (ie. Lee Seung Gi and Yoona), they might actually be dating. Or, they might be pursuing the person.
Those are bullshit. That's why I love Suga's answers when asked about ideal type. He doesn't give a fuck.

lmao agreed, they really think if an idol states that he prefers tall girls for example he would never date irene, it's just dumb, yes people have their preferences, but not everyone an idol dates will perfectly fit their "ideal type"

Isn’t this true generally for life. Like ideally I prefer tall guys however if I met someone like Jimin or Suga I wouldn't say no.
When I see them I just think they must be really young, like 12, 13, 14. Or one of those socially awkward idealistic girls who make 50 point checklists of the qualities their ideal boy/girl must have to meet their standards. When you get a little older you realize that personal chemistry overrides most other things. (And that Jungkook is not saving himself for IU only...)
