They will get some few work here and there in Japan, but they are going be more on korean music shows. I just get a very strong Kpop vibe than Jpop with NiziU.
It's the other way around for me. I think they won't promote in Korea alot because there's no demand. There was already a viral post about one of the members' grandfather and blah blah blah...if they appeared on a variety show or music show they'd get alot of backlash. Then again, they've been learning Korean and even have a KR version of MYH but there's like no demand there lmao. I think JYPE intend to fully promote them in Japan, I've been seeing them performing MYH in alot of places and their pics in places like Lawson. MYH is still doing really well on Oricon and BB Japan... NiziU are actually pretty popular in Japan while WayV are like nugu in China so...there's your answer.
Idk dude, sure they're managed by a Korean company and a big one at that, but the difference is WayV is technically a Korean-Chinese group. They may be fully Chinese (barring Ten technically) and sing in Chinese, but they're under NCT, a Korean group. NiziU doesn't have that barrier, I think JYP intends for them to be a fully JPOP-only group maybe with the occasional korea appearance here and there.
i wish them better than wayv gets so no if sm doesn't give wayv the chinese promo they deserve when the pandemic has settled down more then...
I don't see them promoting in Korea, besides they are already pretty popular in Japan and since its the second biggest music market thats all they need.
Wayv is nugu in China whereas Niziu is insanely popular in their home country. Don’t see Niziu giving up Japan for Korea lol. They will promote in two countries. Girls are learning korean, they post in eng, Japanese and Korean and have subs for international fans.
The opposite, they will be extremely popular in japan and nugu everywhere else. Probably won't even bother promoting in korea
If they are going to perform on korean music shows, do you think it will be very limited? Like a appearance in just one show and not every one of them like WayV has done?
I think they will be like twice, like twice focus more on Korea thank Japan but niziu will be more focused on Japan
I do, too, "a very strong Kpop vibe." But I think they're going to dominate the Japan market, too. JYP has been playing it right so far, and if he continues, and I think he will, NiziU will be huge in both Korea and Japan. Also, with their English-speaking members, their reach could extend to the West.
