i'm literally watching all the dragon ball saga and i just transitioned from the first part to dragon ball Z (i'm at ep 22) and tbh
i was like... what??? milk and goku already got a son???
i mean milk always liked goku but i didn't see any part where goku falls in love with her too, the writer was like
"ah yeah this is a shonen so i can't waist my time writing romances, i need goku to have a son so here, take a wife"
also the way they wrote milk for the Z part is really boomer, they make her seem so strict and irrational, i mean just as boomers think wives are.
milk went from being a cute lil girl to this "boomer wife" charicature, i really hate it.
well it was the 80s, can't expect much more
but milk has a great character potential, she even got to be a great martial artist but the author just cancelled her like that just because she became a wife and a mom, ugh
she could've been so much better...
let's see if they give her justice in the next episodes / parts.

oh btw ChiChi through the entirety of DB and DBZ stays a very strong and determined woman

it's just she is more into family and Goku is more into fighting

they both have amazing and strong sets of morals and honestly Goku's character is a huge inspiration for me and ChiChi imo is the perfect person for him ( neither are my favourite characters )

they're both great characters who clearly love and respect each other but the fans want more lovey-dovey moments and a lack of those seems to turn them off

i would understand why children might feel that way but i dont see why adults wont understand

In the Latin American dub, Chi-Chi is known as Milk because Chi-Chi is a slang word that means breasts in Spanish.
