How To Make Easy Do It Yourself Hamburger Helper It looks about like this when it's done. Maybe whiter because of the soup. I was starving for lunch and I threw together some homemade hamburger helper based on my memory of my mom's way. I'm probably missing something but it worked. Taste good. What you need: 1 lb ground beef 2 cans Cream Of Mushroom soup Minced Onion or other onion seasoning powder. Elbow macaroni Water Sour cream (optional) Salt (optional) Directions: Brown beef in skillet. While browning add minced onion in beef to cook. When brown, drain. Add drained beef back to skillet. Add some elbow macaroni (however much you want with the beef) Add mushroom soup. Add sour cream to taste. (A little goes a long way) Add salt. Add water until all your macaroni is covered. Stir together. Simmer until your macaroni is soft, adding water as needed. (You may have to add more to get the noodles soft). Stirring occasionally. Eat! (You can also substitute Cream of Mushroom with Cream of Chicken if you want. I've made it that way. Also add whatever stuff you may want. This is just the base version) Anyway it's quick and easy. Cheap. Doesn't take a any skill. I know I'm not a chef. Try it!
what the fuck is that? SALT OPTIONAL? WHAT KIND OF RAISINS IN MACORONI SALAD wheres the seasoning? IT SHOULD BE VISIBLE
That sounds good! The soup is just to give it the light sticky thickening agent. So you really add any sort of thing that melts or is a paste.
Well don't expect Michelin stars. This here is cheap middle America eating lol. But it still taste good.
