After you got into Asian culture how did that affect your personal look? Like clothes, hair, makeup, ect.

I went through a big changed when I first got into Kpop. I was young, around 13 or 14, so I was very impressionable XD I wanted to be ulzzang so badly it was crazy haha. I wasn't allowed to wear makeup at the time so I focused on my style going for a cute baggy sort of style? Like this

I also had a bad period of wanting to lose weight and not doing the right things at all to achieve that.
I'm all good now and I don't let the standards of Korean beauty affect me since a lot of it is unattainable for me, though I still love their fashion and makeup!

It hasn't changed at all, a lot what they do won't suit me anyway. The only thing I could say is that when I saw Jimin wear these earrings I really liked it and brought a set for myself

I also had the misfortune of weight loss due to the influence of KPOP and ended up losing 15 lbs in a week and a half, which honestly wasn't very smart. I also developed a bit of an eating disorder and insecurity towards my weight which I didn't have prior. As for fashion, Korean style has made me want to look prettier - currently, I'm interested in learning about skincare and mastering a routine. I also find that I've thrown away many of my old clothing (baggy crap) and instead prefer things more stylish - baggy shirt with tight pants, baggy pants with tight shirt, and a lot of tucking in of my shirt!

I don't think it's a bad thing that I've come to have high expectations for myself, since my end goal is to work hard to love myself.

I had a phase of doing my makeup like an ulzzang from 2009 and looked really cringe but since then i've just been doing the makeup to suit my face. Ever since discovering Korean makeup trends I basically just realised that I didn't have to do all the western makeup trends to look pretty and realised that I could do what the fuck I want with my makeup so the only thing that changed is that I stopped trying to conform to western beauty ideals because k-beauty helped me realise that having straighter brows or a much rounder face is pretty too.

Dresses are the best way to change the look. You can wear stylish branded dress. I know 1 site i.e Darveys. Go through it once.

    Hope you like it.

My style changed after finishing school. I started earning some money and could finally afford make-up and some new clothes for myself. So when I got into K-Pop my style was going through a big change already. But from a younger age on I was also interested in japanese culture, so I guess, I took inspiration from both.
I never used make-up in school, but started to experiment with it and I found out that I liked the more asian style of "My face but better" way more then the european style I saw everwhere around me. I use mainly european make-up, but in a more asian way.
I also started dressing more feminine. After starting uni I gained some weight and developed a different body shape and by now I prefer a skirt over a jeans by any means. I think K-Pop might have inspired me here, I got new ideas on how to combine styles and colors. I started trying things I didn't dare to try before and I'm feeling way more like me.
What really changed a lot is my skin care. I had terrible skin up until about last year, frequent breakouts, dry patches, very very dark circles... I tried to find a routine that worked for me but I didn't. But when I got into K-Pop, I also got into korean skin care and I tried some new stuff. I discovered a toner with Witch Hazel online, I had never seen Witch Hazel before here, and read about it. I found out that it might fit the problems I had and I tried it. It works so much better than anything I tried befor, it was like magic xD
So thanks to that I now have a steady skin care routine including a korean toner and some sheet masks ^^
