    Hey You Talk Funny!

    Hello Allkpoppers.

Let's call cease fire on the The Great Twice War and talk about something stress free. ;)

Like people and their speech styles!

Tell us about your speech/writing style!

Is there anything interesting/odd/weird/cool about the way you talk or write?

    Me:

You may have noticed I use a lot of religious imagery/words in my manner of writing.

I reference the concepts of heaven/angels/devils/etc. and other religious ideas a lot in my writing.

My curse pattern also reflects religious influence.

Jesus Christ. Holy smokes. God d-mn. Heavens no. Etc.

    You may be thinking... So?

Well it's odd because I'm not religious.

I'm actually atheist (I don't believe in God).

Neither do I believe in other gods or spirits or the supernatural of any kind.

But due to where I'm from and how I was raised, (in an almost entirely Christian area) those ideas and words found their way into my vocabulary and how I speak. How I talk about the world is to some extent related through a religious influenced lens even though I am a non-believer.

    Anyway cool right! maybe not

    ;)

Well slang in new zealand is different..

I also say words that would be considered bad online, not going to say them with sjws everywhere. But its because new zealand is much more chill.

@pulchritudinous knows what i mean.. i think lol

I never write lowercase n's the proper way. They're more like smaller versions of capital N's

When I write English I used "well" and "though" all the time. I think I also tend to make long sentences and I find my own texts bit heavy to read, maybe it's like that for others also. It's just that my grammar for sure isn't best possible ^^; ... and then this ^^; , yep it's my most used emoticon. I'm not even sure how others interpret it, but it's mix of ^^ and :sweatr:.

People have criticized me for speaking in a calm and silent way, as if I'm hiding which I haven't realized until I was told so. I also mispronounce words sometimes and forget what I was about to say. As for writing, I guess my inner poet shows sometimes hehe..

same i never swear in my native tongue but constantly do in english
i actually have a tendedncy to talk rather loudd, especially if im comfortable around the person im speaking to, i tend to lose awarness of my volume
all of my friends i learned english from where in east coast so when i speak english, it has a mix of boston, brooklyn, jersey, and my own accent from my native language...and it sounds rather odd

Do you do it with just "N" or more letters?

I have a weird way of writing too.

I make my strokes from the bottom up sometimes rather than the correct way (top down).

    I learned wrong.

Normally just "N" but if I'm speed writing I notice that I do with "E" and "A" as well. Only when I speed writing tho, like talking notes during a lecture
    I don't know why

I use "........" a lot in my sentences and I tend to use emojis a lot since they make me too a bit more energized :)

And I try to sound more mature than I am :D
