Kalafina are my favorites, they are vocal group that has bit of fantasy theme and they have done tons of anime ops and eds.
FictionJunction is their sister group and two members of Kalafina are also members of it. They have done tons of anime OSTs.
Lastly solo singer KOKIA who has angelic voice. Also tons of anime OSTs..
Yep my jpop/-rock knowledge comes from mostly anime ^^;
Oh, Kokia !!! I know her, she's wonderful, I'll check out your other suggestions, thanks.
Btw, hah I've always loved how Bom looks in that MV (the one in your avatar picture)
Kokia is quite amazing, I love so many songs from her that I don't even know what my fav songs is And Bom looks bomb, I love her hair color in that mv. Not sure if it's wig though
Most of them were already mentioned so I'll say.. LM.C and Miyavi.
No problem. Feel free to visit their threads in the artist threads section for more info. Or tag me if ya need it.
Sandaime J Soul Brothers. Originally they started as a ballad group, but has done more genres. 2 of them sings while the rest dances.
Their sister group Flower. A ballad group. Originally they were 9 with 6 dancers and 3 vocalists, but consists now of 5 dancers and only 1 vocalist.
Utada Hikaru. She makes good songs in different genres.
Chu's Day. An underrated new band.
I love that gif, I hadn't seen it, Suga and Hobi are my biases in BTS
I was wondering, since it seems that you're very into Japanese music, it seems that you know a lot about it, do you speak Japanese?
Wow, cool!,I somehow look up to people who are actually able to speak Japanese. I've been trying to learn for some years, but I'm stuck D:
im lucky enough to get to use it often enough, but i think learning languages is something that can never be mastered afterall I don't even know all English words.
and now another suggestion
haha, I probably expect too much from my Japanese for someone who hasn't studied in a long time D:
It's nice to see people who can actually speak it, I admire that
Is English your native language?
Btw, thanks for your suggestions, I've liked most of them so far.
I'd also recommend WEAVER if you don't know them already. ^_^ Their songs KOKO, Kuchizuke Diamond and Hard to Say I Love You are some of my favorites.
I think we need a pinned topic. "Good Jpop/Jrock recommendations - Don't ask again ." . No offense to the OP but this same question gets asked periodically with the same folks (all the good folks here, including me) answering the same groups.....and Aqua of course fanning Aldious . I feel like saying..."Geez, just read some threads" but I get that it is new to some and want to feel welcoming.
So... @unseen ....Sincerely Welcome!!!
You've entered the dark side.
Pull up a couch and relax.
And...Touch My Secret....here's a thread
(now go read some threads )
Yeah, probably I should have checked the previous threads D: , anyway, thanks !
Actually, I'm into Japanese music but don't know as much as I wanted, I only know a few of kind of indie bands and J-rock but it's not enough haha. Plus, I'm also "new" to AKP so hah this was the very first thing I posted in a forum.
