seems like YG is trying to push Ikon and Blackpink in the Japanese market before they even have a stable fan base in south Korea.

I'm glad that the Japanese fans get to see their bias more often but aren't groups usually suppose to focus on gaining a fan base domestically first instead of internationally?

BP already has a pretty stable fanbase in Korea
but yeah, that's a good idea
they should be pushed into the international market as well, so they could have GOT7 type fame if SK doesn't work out=popular internationally, known but not super well known in SK
Or they could have a Winner like comeback, have a massive hit and be thrust into the spotlight again

Nah. He probably just wants his groups to increase their hold on Japan, especially since a lot of other groups are gaining popularity there at an insane amount.

YG just wants money. SK's music market is too small and in YG's eyes... it's not worth it to spend too much time in Korea because the market is over saturated and his groups make more money overseas.

Yep, it pretty much comes down to this. Tours in Japan bring a lot of money, it's why every group that can do it tours there a lot.
