What do people think
i think yes
I honestly don't know.
It depends on how you define a national hit. If it is a song that breaks records on charts, then yes.
If it is a song that has impact, then only Koreans/award shows can tell that.
No. Its a hit but not a national level that everyone from children to adults to people who don't like idol songs like it. The definition of a national hit is love scenario. For me atleast, a national hit is not defined by charts only
A definite YES
Yeah that's the question has it reached that beyond chart success/ music show win next level thing
I don't think it has. I haven't see anything related to it.
I'd like to be seen as a NH personally as I think BP are the kind of group that deserve it
It has 730k+ unique listeners on its 33rd days..some groups debut day can't even hit that number..i don't know but it seems like the general public likes it..Also i've seen the recent water gun festival in korea the Dj played Ddu Du Ddu Du in front of like thousands and everyone was bopping to it.. heck they even know the rap..
maybe i dunno.
I think BP can do better, i think in a year no one really cares about DDDD anymore. But here i am still salty that BoomBayah got so neglected
That's not always the case...
Gee didn't win SOTY (due to issues between SM & Mnet) and the song is regarded as the hit of the century in Korea for the records that it set on the charts.
National hits are very rare tbh
Kpop fans everything their faves make a national hit. The national hits I remember are gee, sorry sorry, haru haru, lies, love scenario and a t-ara song I don't remember
Yes if we go according to award shows then signal had more impact than really really
You might be thinking about Roly Poly?
The song was a huge bop and has around 5M DLs
It is a massive hit tho
