Both release amazing albums right at the start of the year and make me forget other groups even exist if you haven't listened to I Burn yet, what are you doing??? While you're at it also listen to Dreamcatcher's Dystopia Tree of Language juseyo~
I don't know if they are the best since I haven't listen to a LOT of GGs but so far they are the only 2 GGs that pleasantly surprised me. I even made a comment before in a thread that Dreamcatcher is imo a very underappreciated and underrated group. And yesterday I watched Gidle and listened to their Album and thought here's another GG that deserves to go really big. Wished their company will push them and market them really well.
What makes it even more amazing is both groups' members have participated in their album making, (G)I-DLE's Soyeon have produced songs, written lyrics and had input in concepts as well, now Minnie and Yuqi also get to showcase their abilities as composer/lyricist. DreamCatcher's Siyeon, Dami, and Jiu also have participated in composing and writing their b-sides, eventhough their title tracks are still produced by Leez and Ollounder, and member Sua choreographed some of their b-side promoted songs on her own. I say it is just a matter of time before Miyeon and Yoohyeon started making songs too.
