So far, these idols are currently supporting china's actions and are supporting the escalation of the hong kong protests. I urge people to really follow up on this, china's actions are gonna result in something way worse than we can imagine. I've been an f(x) fan for 7 years now but victoria can choke now for all i care for. These people care more about fame and money than about human rights and lives.

List so far (will be edited):
    Kyulkyung (I.O.I, Pristin)
    Lai Kuan Lin (Wanna One)
    Victoria Song (f(x))
    Jackson Wang (Got7)
    Lay (''EXO'')
    Jun (Seventeen)
    The8 (Seventeen)
    Lucas (WayV)
    Cheng Xiao (WJSN)

keep me updated about other idols joining in on the facism train that is china.
And i sincerely hope people take action towards this, y'all shitted on BTS for performing in Saudi Arabia, while China is one of THE BIGGEST human rights violaters on the planet right now. And they are seriously gunning towards a tiannenmen square 2.0, and your precious idols are supporting china in this conflict. your money and voice matters!

and i really don't care wether your ''idols'' were forced or not, staying silent in this issue is standing with the opressor. Your action could be to distance yourself and show dissent towards their actions.

this is for most the only way to show they disagree, we on a kpop forum so we should talk about this and make other people aware of the situation.

None of these Idols are my bias and i have never spend money on their Groups as well so i'm good.

Anyway to say people should turn their back towards these Idols because some people didn't like the idea of BTS performing in SA (implaying their are hypocrites) isn't much better tho, as the majority of Armys still support BTS so i guess many fans of these Idols will continue to support their faves as well.

Clown is not talking about the medium we choose he's talking about the inherent nature :)

How do you know they support this agression? I don't follow any of the listed idols or their groups so I don't know. What did they say and how?

the difference in this situation is that these idols openly expressed their support for the chinese governments actions, while bts just performed. what these idols are doing is in my eyes way worse

OP mentioned it and i just point out that it wasn't necessary to do so, as fans will support their faves anyway if it wasn't them who committed these crimes.

Props to you for making this thread, but honestly most people here couldn't care less about the actual victims affected by the conflict between China and HK. They only care about oppa and his "safety"

    Isn't Jackson from HK?

I'd add all JYP artists tbh. He won't even have a concert in one of his idol's hometown cuz he doesn't want to upset almighty China.

there is a difference in just performing and openly supporting the actions of a fascist government that is about to attack hong kong
