I don't know music from China in this dialekt/acent (In German "cantonese" is called "Kantonesisch" btw lol), but I googled a little bit and found something...

    Terence Choi-一缕情丝

    Priscilla Chan-千千闕歌

    Jacky Cheung-每天愛你多一些

    Faye Wong-容易受傷的女人

This is all Google gave me...

Canto pop isn't like Kpop whatsoever so you wouldn't find 'groups' but only solo artists. Also most of the relevant canto pop artists have already ventured to the mainland China market to sing in mandarin.

I'd recommend G.E.M as a representative of both canto pop/mando pop

    and Hana

Cantopop has pretty much been in decline for over a decade now. Among the ones I listen to, I can really only say Jacky Cheung (张学友)and Faye Wong (王菲)(from 20-30 years ago) is worth much time listening to. Jacky Cheung started singing in Cantonese, but as Mandarin grew, most of his later stuff is in Mandarin... which in my opinion are also better. Faye Wong is native Mandarin but had to sing Cantonese at first because Cantopop was much bigger at the time she came on the scene. Recent artists like GEM (邓紫棋)also started in Cantonese, but mainly do Mandarin now.

As far as mandopop, my favorites are Bibi Zhou (周笔畅)and Hua chenyu (华晨宇)... these two are simply stunning in vocal ability and have countless great songs... even more than most Western artists I like to.

There aren't a lot of canto-pop bands nowadays. The best I've heard is Beyond, a group that has been around since the 80's, but they disbanded back in '05.

For C-Pop, S.H.E., MayDay, and I'd recommend F.I.R., but I'm not sure if they're still any good now that Faye has left the group.
