WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK !???
7=\= 10 !!!!!!
I lost my last brain cells yalll
Yeah there wrong thats exo kidding I have little bits of patience for the media
See, SM? You shove your group in our faces here in the States and people STILL think about BTS.
nct at the beginning of literally every interview, yelling and doing the nct hand sign:
TO THE WORLD NCT
american media: .....bts? konycheewah!!
Man ppl gotta learn basic math
Is this western media? If so I'm not surprised since NCT just got America and haven't promoted much so I don't expect them to know them at all. It will take some time before the media realized their are two different groups.
I saw a lot of people using this to drag NCT but like...doesn’t it reflect bad on NCT, BTS, and the media all at the same time?
Clearly to the people and media mixing them up, all BTS is a large group of Asian men. Actually if anything it makes the media look worse than anyone.
Man this is pure shit journalism they should be ashamed really do some fucking research!
lmao I love this
But never expect much from racist, trust me it leads nowhere and you have to explain why the KKK and Nazis are bad and not equivalents to "leftists nowadays" and nothing will come out of that
wow, that's pretty bad lol
So... this happened a few months ago. Nothing new.
If you expect western outlets to even care or take the time to count, guess you’re daydreaming. Took many mistakes and calling them out to have some understand that BTS has seven members. Bad timing, cross race effect you name it. Expected nonetheless
BTS has made a name for themselves. Lots of locals and media know their name, that they're a kpop group/the most popular boygroup in the world, and maybe 1-2 songs or awards they've won. But they still don't know their faces or how many members they have or anything even remotely detailed about them. Added to that there's almost zero Asian representation in the US, and bc of that there's still hostility, stigmas, stereotypes and a whole lot of ignorance about Asian people, culture and music etc.
We all saw this coming tho didn't we? I know me and almost all my friends did. They went to the same award show, but only one of them was nominated and currently has any real name recognition. This is just not the smart way to go about entering a new market, especially one as racially ignorant as the US. And it's not just gonna be annoying to NCT, but also to BTS. What MX and Got7 are doing, that's a much much better tactic imo.
