I'm not talking about Zboys and Zgirls, since they are not promoting in Korea, but outside. I'm talking about a a group that sings in korean and promote on korean variety and music shows.

Is it going to be a KPOP group when it doesn't have KOREAN members? I don't think so. There can be SEA group made by kpop company to promote THERE, but in KOREA? NO.

Lana is doing it now and she's not korean a bit. EXP did it before, so I don't see the problem if they sing in korean.

hmmmmm the only SEA that mainly have come up in kpop were those from thailand. i feel like b/c visuals are heavily focused in this industry, they would seek for SEAs who look more EA, kind of like kriesha chu.

also, idk how the gp will react with a complete SEA kpop group. there are issues regarding negative reactions to even half koreans and the xenophobia reeks sometimes, so idk what reactions people would have with a 100% foreign kpop group. maybe in the future cuz things are changing, but not now tbh cuz idk if i feel like they’re just starting to just add “more” foreigners in kpop groups. and i say more as in, not just japanese or chinese. but u never know cuz companies are also trying to recruit trainees globally.

I don't understand why it would need to be Kpop

What's wrong with Singing in other Languages?

Never going to have a Thai or Filipino Music Industry if nobody starts it

    Not Kpop, SEA group.

Besides, most Koreans are racist towards SEAs, so it won't work.

Hm...What about if the SEA group had 1 korean member born in the west? Would they be able to maybe tone down the xenophobia against them since there are one korean, even though the rest are from SEA?

Since the Z groups are kind of established now, maybe they should try first to promote in Korea to see how people responds to them.

The K in K-pop stands for Korean , so no. Even if there is such a group, most people won't even approve them.

Yes I remember when they met DIA ^^

I do hope now the company has more money to put them on Arirang Simply K-POP(since it's a english speaking show)and SBS The Show. They are coming back soon with a new song in two weeks.

It's audition for the second gen Z-POP groups. They won't debut until 2020.

it's certainly gonna be very hard, koreans have trouble accepting even one SEA member in a group, but if their music and presence is good enough they could get a niche following, they'd probably end up with more international fans tho
