Do you think Kpop groups can make a lot of money from digital chart in China?

We all know in South Korea, digital chart is not bringing a lot of money.
I remember even "Gangnam Style" by PSY with 4,041,000 digital sales in 2012 alone only generated $38.000 from SK digital chart.
While The cost for an MV alone is estimated to be 150 million won or $125.000?
And JYP even said for an idol group to debut and have their first comeback, the management company will have to pay an estimate of 1.9 billion won.

If China's digital chart can bring a lot of money, do you think it might be better for Kpop group to promote more in China.

Digital sales barely make money anywhere. I don't know why China would be any different.

No physicals are more important in China. That’s why blackpink, bts and seventeen are considered top groups there, they move records, not just cheap digitals.

Is there anyway to actually count physical sales in China? Like there’s a lot of digital charts but is there anything like Oricon or Gaon?

They can barely make money from digital sales domestically, much less China where prices are even cheaper. I guess given the population size, if there's a really big hit they could make about the same/ slightly more.

However a hit could lead to the real money maker i.e. CFs, increased Cfandom thus more album sales, tours (post ban/corona) etc.

These are the top three kpop groups in China(for third gen) and they all sell a lot of albums there. That’s why China is such a good market to have.

Chinese bars usually buy a bunch of albums for kpop groups. Alot of them are the biggest physical sales contributors for certain groups.

No but helps to grow a bigger fanbase and we all know that China makes probably 50% of the sales of a bunch of groups these days

Same impact with youtube views more views more impact, and if they can break some record it will be even more impact. It can lead them to something else, like bigger audience more CFs or other job offers.

Don't know about streaming, but for digital sales in China is around $0,42 (3 CNY) per-song.

For example hylt sold more than 2,5 M in China, that's more than $1 million in profit

8 CNY will buy you a month's subscription for QQ which allows you to download 300 songs for the cheapest option or 18CNY (US$2.58) for the Luxurious package

YGE will probably get a couple of thousand dollars for 2.5m downloads

Sorry but where do those numbers even come from?

Also I have to point out that those numbers suggests that QQ will offer it's services to YGE for free
