I'm not talking about only certain groups but kpop as a whole
no and i hope it doesnt
I think some groups can grab public attention but I don't think it will ever be "mainstream".
No,not anytime soon.
Asking if k-pop will ever be taken seriously is the same as asking if the tabloids are ever gonna stop making fun of western celebrities..it's just not happening lel
Nah Kpop will never be mainstream because it's primarily in Korean. Artists that sing songs in English have higher chances
What makes you think KPOP can become mainstream, when Latin isn't even that mainstream
Because we're gradually seeing Western pop artists / celebrities supporting and showing interest in Kpop
nah. Kpop is too easy to hate on and Americans are pretty good at that shit
Mumble rap is a joke and "easy to hate on" too but it became a thing
No way, not even close.
no. HUGE LANGUAGE BARRIER!
In South Korea...YES
In any other country...hell no...all countries r dominated by their own music industry...and therefore they dont need other genre...
No. As long as people are racist and homophobic here, it doesn't stand a chance
I just REALLY HOPE NOT
PLS DON'T KILL ME
H.O.T got their MTV Korea award in some cheap, obscure area during the 1999 VMA while all the American stars were at the actual event.
Sorry, it's not happening.
No it won’t be. Y’all also stop generalizing all Americans please.
um.. Kpop is already mainstream in SK lmao
like its literally SK pop
you pulled a video from 1856 wtf
i know Kpop will never be mainstream but you know it aint like THIS anymore
And no, Kpop will never be mainstream.
I'm sure it'll be like anime : a genre everyone knows but not everyone is into. Mostly fanbase driven.
( and where only 2-3 groups are actually known by the GP : right now its basically BTS >>>>>>>>>>>> BP >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> the rest )
