kpop sales have been on the rise for a few years now and are at an all time high, mostly because of competition among the top groups and the schemes kpop companies are running to drive the sales up. but do you think removing bts from the picture would cause the sales to drop drastically? bc it wont take as many albums for a group to be one of the 'best selling' groups, so the real bulk buyers probably wont feel the same urgency, and lbr, all kpop group sales are being heavily carried by the bulk buying portion of the fandoms. buying 6+ of the same album seems like a norm now. obviously this isnt to say bts is going anywhere anytime soon or at all for that matter. just a hypothetical for the purpose of discussion.
