Do you honestly believe that the majority of idols sing live for their comeback stages?

Even if they do sing live they usually have a backing track so it's never 100% live

People use that as an excuse to put down other's who aren't their faves who lipsync...meanwhile their faves do it sometimes too. It's sad, really.

    Stan CLC too

Don't know why people actually believe they sing live, another reason to brag or just plain delusional?

Some do, but I'm not sure about percentages at all. Well, I think most sing something over the backing track. How much and how well they sing over it is another question. I refuse to believe most of idols just open and close their mouths like dying fishes in the stage.

Yes and no, I think int depends on the show. I notice on show music core people tend to sing live more often.

Backtrack isn't necessarily a bad thing though.

There's karaoke backtrack, basically to save cost/easier stage cause you don't need all the orchestra/backup vocals.

And there's backtrack without vocals removed, which is basically lipsync even if they still make some noise ("sing live") on top of it.

Tbh if you see idols singing into earmics it's 90-95% lipsync. Singers usually all prefer handheld mics for quality purpose. There are exceptions but yeah.

    No lol
I think the prerecorded lives are the most common as well as when they just put the music way too high to hear them actually singing.

So, according to you this is live?

Also, this entire performance is pre-recorded vocals, except for Lisa's rap and 30% of Jennie's rap.

More like the majority lipsync or try to sing on top of a prerecorded live singing that's been done on a earlier recording on set.

Tho there are exceptions when the idols suck at lipsync so they prerecord less and sing more.

    Every situation is different.

Lipsync on stage doesn't mean the Idols can't sing live, they are either good at singing live but still prefer a perfect recording helping them along the way while they focus more on the performance (choreo) aspect of the entire performance or the idol can sing live but sounds bad so require more prerecorded live singing while only sing the key parts of the song.

This I agree with. It is simply not possible to dance intensely and sing like a CD. I am aware of backtracks, BLACKPINK is notorious for those, especially for Lisa's and Jennie's punchlines. There'd be pre-recorded vocal, than a simple playback for punch lines, or the last word of a line.

    of course they're not
and funny thing is, fans always scream they eat cd when sometimes you can see their mouth not even match the lyrics
how can you sing with your mouth halfway open
and some of them not even finishing their line just to act cool in the end

i even think some of these fans never really see a live stage from another singer
if they did, the difference is uncanny

Nobody is accusing idols of not being able to sing. I am just simply stating that people should chill when it comes to proving their power as nobody can jump up and down and keep their vocals stable as in studio.
