The Recording Industry Association of America announced this week that BTS' song “Fake Love” has been certified gold -- the Korean septet's third song to go gold in the U.S. The song was certified gold on Aug. 8, recognized for 500,000 equivalent song units earned in the U.S. “Fake Love” follows last year’s “DNA” and “Mic Drop” as their latest gold single.“Fake Love” went to No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 in May, making BTS the first Korean group to ever break into the chart's top 10. It was the lead single from Love Yourself: Tear, the first-ever Korean album to top the Billboard 200 following its release on May 18.
