    Yikeseroni.

    No one compares Online sales.

Biggest first day album sales would be Shoujo Jidai - Girls' Generation 74,000. Though thats just album wise, if you mean Physical then it would be Twice with 129,000+

    I don't rememer all the numbers 100%.

    Hmmmmm.....

    For GGs.
Japan 1st day Physical Sales is TWICE's Wake Me Up 129,275
    Korea it's Signal at 42.2k

I think BP should beat TWICE's first day sales, based on what Blinks have quoted for their online sales as TWICE's were apparently 56k for pre-orders according to a Blink post, which is news to me, and BP was 100k+

I don't think so. I think Soshi's album sold 74,000 on the first day. All offline/physicals. Thats just Full albums.

Twice's Wake Me Up sold 129,000 on the first day too.

I mean if you guys are talking about Hanteo then it's a different story. Overall, Twice and Soshi has this in the bag. But Hanteo Idk its up for grabs

Hanteo is the only Chart that publishes daily sales, although it will be interesting to see if they block Chinese or Japanese sales as they have with some other GGs (Laboum and Momoland)

I thought they meant Girl Groups overall physicals (Cause Oricon does Daily too).
We just gotta see though. Not sure how their first week will go cause big sales on first day could potentially flop the next day. We just gotta wait and see.

I am more interested in Gaon numbers though. Those don't come out until July 6th though. So we will be waiting about 3 weeks before we get those.

Oh somewhere between 39,000 ~ 42,000 but those were offline sales I think. So idk. Girl Groups aren't really Hanteo sellers.

They don't block Japanese sales. Japanese sales are reflected on Oricon. If they did include it, it would be like counting twice one album sale.

Yeah I found it I think it's Signal. But all that is offline I think. So Physical albums no digitals. If I find any new info I'll be sure to tell you guys

The album itself is technically...a physical but not really if you download it. It's why no one counted that 1,000,000 Album DL's of BTS newest album and is just using either Hanteo or Gaon. It's kind of weird. Depends on who you ask too.

People usually count everything shipped and sold online in the real world with a actual album as Physicals.

I think we can count these online sales as Physicals since its from Hanteo. But its just not considered offline Hanteo sales. Twice's offline sales were 42K I think. Online sales I have no idea. No one buys albums online usually cause you can't go to fansigns and people like to have something to hold.

wtf? so where did BTS' 1million DL's go towards though?!!!! that's a bit unfair when it's still physicals (technically)

Some quick stuff from my edit: think we can count these online sales as Physicals since its from Hanteo. But its just not considered offline Hanteo sales. Twice's offline sales were 42K I think. Online sales I have no idea. No one buys albums online usually cause you can't go to fansigns and people like to have something to hold.

China is known for inflating numbers, rigging the system, and using bots. So it cant be trusted when it comes to anything online/digital. And sometimes the sites aren't trustworthy either. Though we did get an actual report. They sold 217K Physical copies in China officially.

    Overall its a confusing process.
    Stick to
    Hanteo - Gaon - Oricon - Billboard

Those will give you more trustworthy numbers.

Ok, I'll help you even though it is in not in my interest. Got7 and Nu'est had similar thing going on back in october. Their online album sales were reflected on hanteo one day prior to official release. So you can compare it. I think Got7 had like 60k sold
