I'm only logged in on the forum and I have a guest account on the main site and I don't have to log out of the forums to do that.

I use google chrome btw just in case that affects in but if you use a page a lot it comes up on the first page when you open a new window so when I click on the forum page I'm here automatically logged in and when I want to check the main site I click the home button and I'm not logged in on that also when I want to go back to the forum I just click on the word forum in the black bar and it brings me here and I'm logged in

idk if its a glitch or what so maybe this isn't helpful but it is possible

 

I'm pretty sure you can do it(like @Blueberry98 told you), try to log in the forum first and then go to the article section and log out there.

That is true - but after some time; the comments you make in the news site will be credited under your account; so you might seem as a guest there, but it logs it and add it for later ^^

are you sure cos its been like this since I've made an account and sometimes I've made comments on my phone where it only works when I'm logged in so I can see them at the top but sometimes I make comments under guest accounts by accident and try and find them sometime after but obviously since its a guest account I can't see immediately. or maybe I just haven't noticed I don't comment often

 

i tried it and even cleared cookies but it doesn't help

 

I have tried it out on my own account - and it credited the comment under my username after some time. Though not saying that it can’t be a one time thing or I missed something.

So your method might work and since I don’t have any other suggestion, then it is the best we got ^^

 

maybe you'll have to use the forum for sometime before it sticks in your browsers memory. I only use google chrome for the forum because I don't want the history stuck in my main browser so its at the top of my suggested pages

or maybe its just a glitch. sorry I couldn't help!

ah I see well I stumbled upon this by accident and when I noticed I made sure to never log out of the forum or log into the main site in case it resets itself or something so it could just be a glitch
