I know that there are people on here who love J-Pop. Are there any J-Rock lovers on here too?
What are your favorite bands? Favorite solo artists? Favorite songs?

    Hello

I got in the asian music scene with J-Rock... well Visual Kei
I listened to a lot of groups, some really obscure ones like √eight or +ISOLATION or... uh a lot T_T as well as really mainstream ones like An Cafe, the GazettE, dir en grey...

I used to be a big fan of RENTRER EN SOI and DELUHI, as well as D'espairsRay but tbh they all disbanded. That's the danger when you love vkei, all the groups you love will disband T_T

Other notable groups I have in mind are uh... MUCC, Merry, BUCK-TICK, SuG, girugämesh, Metronome, SID, 12012, alice nine... uh... and a lot tbh T_T

More recently I've been mostly listening to ONE OK ROCK in the J-Rock scene though

There should be a J-rock thread or something around the J-pop section that would be cool

    Gesu no Kiwami Otome
    Rick Rack
    FLiP (R.I.P.)
    Hello Sleepwalkers
    Wagakki Band
    Glim Spanky
    Band-Maid
    Fate Gear
    Gacharic Spin
    Exist Trace
    Ganglion
    Aldious
    Radwimps
    Frederic
    Scandal

    Silent Siren
    Cyntia

Probably several more lesser ones, just can't think of them off the top of my head.

Me! Kinda. ONE OK ROCK, UVERworld, and Flow are my favorites. Abingdon Boys School, My First Story, and Orange Range a bit. Do we consider Scandal J-Rock? Because I'm also a fan of theirs! I'm more into mainstream Jrock if that's what it is. ^_^

Favorite songs? The Beginning (OOR), Halzion (UVERworld), World's End (Flow)

My favorite band is LM.C. I've been their fan for 9 out of their 10 years of existence ♡

I also love BREAKERZ and DAIGO, Kra, D, SUGIZO, Alice Nine, LUNA SEA, ... I'm not very familiar to newer bands though.

Been listening to L'Arc-en-Ciel for years. The X-Japan Ballad collection is also awesome.
Hyde is also pretty good in Vamps.
