Back then there were only three music shows (compared to six today), which actually makes the 30 wins even more impressive. The three shows were SBS Inkigayo, KBS Top 10 Song, and MBC Everyone's Popular Song.

So from 1/26/1992 to 5/12/1992, there were 46 episodes of the three shows in total, and Shin Seung-hun won 30 of them, with his longest streak being 13 straight wins. Toward the latter half of the time frame, he would win on MBC and SBS, but would lose on KBS.

Wait why do artists promote some comebacks longer than others? BWL was promoted for 2 months while ON only 1?

So I think there's some misunderstanding here. The dates shown in my original post are the dates of a song's first and last wins, not the period of promotion of that song.

The original post has been updated with a new entrant: "How You Like That" by Blackpink with 12 wins

EDIT: Music Bank accidentally gave the 7/24 win to Blackpink instead of Exo-SC, but later corrected their mistake. I've updated the original post to reflect this.

BWL stopped promotion after like 2 weeks because of the tour. They kept winning because while their physicals were good (as usual), their digitals for BWL were absolutely massive. They blocked Twice, Bol4, Iz*One, and BP. They only started to falter once June hit because strong physical sellers came out.
