I've never disliked anything BTS releases, but BE unfortunately wasn't my favorite. It was enjoyable to listen to as an album, but if I were to pick standout songs (if we're comparing to their previous tracks), it'd really only be Dis-ease for me, but if I were to pick a top 3 from the album it'd be that along with Fly To My Room and Blue & Grey.
I see. Hopefully you will like their next comeback better That bridge in Dis-ease seems to got everyone whipped lol. I really enjoy the old school hip hop vibe of the song.
An underrated masterpiece. This song never gets old. . Seriously Tear is amazing! 134340, Singularity and Outro Tear are some of the best kpop songs ever to me.
LY: TEAR is my favourite bts album I might biased because it brings out the angsty feels in me, especially the truth untold and 134340 (I can never express enough just how much I love this song)
I'm still looking forward to anything they release in the future, so it's no big deal. If I'm to be honest, it wasn't so much the songs themselves necessarily that I wasn't in love with, but certain aspects of the production. But to be fair, this exists everywhere nowadays, and I'm just a grumpy old man longing for the "good old days" in that regard, but it was definitely most noticeable on this release. We live in an era where virtually everyone is listening to music on mobile devices via streaming services and the production must necessarily reflect that. It's part of why I find it difficult to produce music in the current landscape, and am transitioning out of the music industry in general, but that's a topic for another day. But yeah, I grew up on 90s hip-hop, so that's very much my vibe. A lot of my favorite BTS has that, but I am a fan of a wide variety of genres. What I like most about it is it's dynamism, especially if we're comparing to the other tracks on the album.

Man, I LOVE this as an example of BTS’ power, because although this is not one of my favourites of their tracks to just listen to, their sheer energy and their live vocals and their pure lust for life and all they’re doing is just infectious and EVERYTHING.
