Victim of Korean Air's 'nut rage' incident downgraded to an entry level position after returning from recovery

Buzz
Park Chang Jin, the victim of Korean Air's 'nut rage' incident, revealed to be receiving unfair treatment after returning from recovery.

In an interview with KBS on July 13, Park revealed, "Currently, I take care of clients in the economy class. Usually, rookie flight attendants in their first to three years of service are placed in economy.''

He further explained, "I was told to recover my qualifications as a flight attendant since I was on a hiatus for more than a year."

Park suffered from post-traumatic stress following the incident.

In addition, Park continuously failed the English broadcasting exam for Korean Air 5 times while he has obtained the WT3 - the highest level of English proficiency - from the same exam in 2013.

Park stated, "My English is proficient but I keep on failing. I think it's just an excuse because I've maintained a high level of English skills for the past 20 years when I was working as the head manager."

Park added, "I'm also learning what it feels like to be an outcast. On the outside, they say they support me but a lot of people think 'Why is he like that? He should just stop'. The janitors give me the greatest support."
