A moving street performance in Korea is gaining attention and sending an important message of understanding and acceptance on the issue of gay youths.

An artist named Heezy Yang went out to different locations in Seoul to demonstrate what it is like for LGBT youths to have their families reject them and kick them out of their homes. He put various items in boxes with written labels revealing why they were thrown out. A stuffed bunny doll was thrown out because "it only has one eye." A puppy doll signifying a dog is thrown out, "because my owner is moving away." Heezy Yang sits in his own box that reads, "because I am gay." All the donations he collected during the street performance went to a center for LGBT youth.

Check out the photos from the street performance below.

Why must the Lgbt ask for the same rights when they're just as human as straight people? I don't understand this concept.

I love this, this is so sweet. It's so beautiful to see people spreading the message about LGBT <3

Honestly, this is the most sweetest thing I've seen. It makes me happy that people are opening their arms to lgbtq's community. The hate needs to stop everywhere and Its nice to see that some people are doing some things about it :3

Its fine for straight people to be uncomfortable with LGBT because acceptance and tolerance takes time. But its wrong to deny us our rights, our happiness, and our freedom to express. We are not just comedians, horndogs, and drag queens. We are normal people who live normal lives and I hope that someday, governments could see that.

But why they need sponsor?

Shiraa luhanna95 Friday, October 28, 2016

He is collecting money to donate to a LGBTQ organisation that helps LGBTQ youth

luhanna95 Shiraa Friday, October 28, 2016

Huh? Then can i collect money to help straight youth?

CarolinaGirl luhanna95 Friday, October 28, 2016

Sure! You can go out and collect money for whatever you want. However, if you tell everyone that you are collecting money for all the oppressed straight kids I don't know how much you'll actually get... but have fun!

Shiraa luhanna95 Friday, October 28, 2016

If you are collecting money for an organisation then yes. If there is an organisation that specifically helps straight homeless kids.
