A video of a toddler crossing a busy road all alone has gone viral, angering many people.

The terrifying video was uploaded recently on an online automobile community forum. The toddler, who looks to be about 2-3 years old, is crossing the busy 4 lane car road dangerously.

Towards the end of the video, a man who appears to be the child's guardian can be seen crossing the road as well.

The person who uploaded the video commented, "I was so shocked to find a little toddler in the middle of the road...what kind of parent leaves their kid alone?"

Fortunately, the uploader revealed that a car stopped to rescue the toddler, preventing an accident.

Recently, there has been a call to raise more awareness in Korea on child safety issues, following a death of a 5-year-old child with developmental disabilities who tragically drowned in a lake after leaving a kids' cafe unsupervised.

He was driving and that's a dash cam, it's not like he purposely stopped to video the toddler without doing anything. Ever considered he might also have been so surprised he was stunned and couldn't do anything before he drove past? He had his own circumstances and he wasn't in a situation where he could just stop his car, ffs.

Have you never seen dash cams? And everyone has different reaction times, some take longer to react to situations that shock them, surely you know everyone's different?? This was definitely a mistake on my part but I've ever nearly been knocked down by a car because I wasn't looking and I was saved by this lady's reaction which wasn't to scream but her arms spread and she was just staring in shock at what she thought was about to happen. "Because someone else could do it, why couldn't you?" is an argument that takes nothing else into account. Maybe you should check yourself before you call others idiots.

Kind of disproves the notion that all Korean parents are of the "tiger" variety.
