A restaurant owner is being applauded and commended by netizens for his charity towards the elderly!�
According to Insight, a story of this restaurant owner was recently shared online, and according to the post, the owner has been providing free food to the elderly for three years running.�
The owner, identified as 40-year-old Shin, runs a restaurant in Gyeonggi Province's�Uijeongbu. For three years, without fail, Shin's been serving free food to the elderly folk in his neighborhood on the third Tuesday of every month.�
In the winter, Shin serves the elderly with warm gukbap or janchi guksu, and in the summer, he prepares cool, refreshing bowls of naengmyeon.�
Despite wanting to quit the restaurant business when the MERS outbreak cut his business by more than half, Shin had forged on thinking of the elderly.�
Shin reportedly informed Insight in an interview, "I want to keep serving [the elderly] until my restaurant goes out of business. It is my wish that more business owners would also do what I do in this bleak world."�
