YTN released an exclusive story on June 8 reporting that a man infiltrated a high school in Kangwan Province's Chuncheon under disguise to secretly film the female students.

Around the time school was starting in the morning, surveillance footage shows a man walking into the building with a book in one hand. Three hours later, police arrived and apprehended the man, who was revealed to be a 20-year-old college student identified as Ryu. Ryu had entered the school by disguising himself as a faculty member and proceeded to follow the female students around to secretly film up their skirts using a cell phone. 

It was reported that Ryu was confronted by two male students who caught him in his act and dialed the police. When the two students discovered the man loitering in the hall, they immediately restrained him to keep him from taking flight and confiscated his phone which contained clips of the female students. 

Nam Hyung Suk, one of the male students who caught the criminal, stated, "When I heard that my close friend for three years was victimized, it didn't feel good and I wanted to catch the criminal for her." 

It was reported that there were over 15 videos on Ryu's phone. Police are currently looking into Ryu's motive behind the crime and checking to see if there are any additional clips.
